Carles Reina is a Spanish entrepreneur, operator, and angel investor based in London. He is known for scaling tech companies and investing in early-stage AI and deep tech startups. Reina began his career in operations at Uber, contributing to the expansion of the UK and Ireland region. He later served as VP of Product at Jobandtalent and VP of Operations at Tractable.
Currently, Reina is the VP of Revenue at ElevenLabs, an AI voice startup, where he leads go-to-market efforts. He was also an early investor in ElevenLabs and the fourth employee. Reina has driven the company's annual recurring revenue to over $200 million and launched its enterprise offerings across multiple regions, including the US, Europe, Japan, and India. As an angel investor, Reina has backed over 70 startups, including Revolut. In November 2025, he launched Baobab Ventures, a $15 million solo general partner fund focused on pre-seed and seed-stage deep tech startups in AI and robotics. Baobab Ventures plans to invest in 30-35 startups, with investments averaging $300,000-$350,000.
