Orbea Orca Aero sheds 21 watts to hunt pure speed
The Hunt for Raw Efficiency
When you are screaming down an Alpine pass or battling a brutal block headwind, you do not want a machine that merely survives. You need a weapon built for the absolute edge. The redesigned Orbea Orca Aero is a direct, uncompromising response to the laws of physics. Orbea engineered this rig to fight drag with every single millimeter of its carbon structure.
Shaving Watts Where It Matters
Aerodynamics in a wind tunnel mean nothing if they fail on the asphalt. The real-world numbers on this machine tell the story. When paired with a rider, this setup saves 21 watts at 50 kilometers per hour compared to its predecessor. That massive gain comes from a complete system overhaul: refined geometry, drag reduction, and raw efficiency.
Radical Tube Profiles and Integrated Steer Blocks

Every tube on this frame got a savage redesign. A deeper fork cuts through the air, while the integrated aero keel and optimized round-bottle integration keep air flowing cleanly. Crucially, Orbea added rubber pads on the fork blades and a dedicated steer block. It is a brilliant mountain bike safety feature brought to the road, stopping your bars from smashing your top tube during a wreck.
Slammed Bottom Bracket for Aggressive Cornering
Stability is speed. This frame features a massive bottom bracket drop, lower than any comparable aero machine on the gravel or pavement. This drops your center of gravity, planting the bike through high-speed turns. It keeps you stable and shrinks your frontal profile against the wind.
Mud-Ready Clearance for Big Rubber
Speed is no longer confined to narrow, smooth tracks. This frame clears up to 37mm tires with a full 5mm of extra safety clearance. That means you can run high-volume rubber to absorb vibration without losing an ounce of speed.
