One UI 7 is Samsung's custom Android skin based on Android 15. It is developed by Samsung Electronics to run on their Galaxy smartphones and tablets. One UI 7 introduces a redesigned interface with new icons, simplified widget templates, and enhanced customization options. The update also integrates new AI features, designed to help users interact with their devices more naturally.
Key features of One UI 7 include a new "Now Bar" on the lock screen for essential information and quick access to functions like media controls and timers, as well as smarter AI select options. It also offers improved navigation gestures, enhanced connectivity with nearby devices, and more control over app and widget styles. Galaxy AI features help with writing tasks, transcribing and summarizing recorded calls, removing or adjusting sounds in videos, and effortlessly creating images.
Samsung began rolling out One UI 7 on April 7, 2025, starting with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The update is gradually expanding to other Galaxy devices, including older flagship models, FE models, and tablets. While the S25 series comes with One UI 7 pre-installed, many older devices, dating back to 2021, are also eligible for the update. The rollout schedule extends through at least June 2025. As One UI is software, it does not have a price range.
