The Mamiya RZ67 Pro is a professional medium format single-lens reflex (SLR) system camera. Mamiya manufactured it from 1982 to 2014. There are three successive models: the RZ67 Professional (1982), RZ67 Professional II (1993), and RZ67 Professional IID (2004). It's designed primarily for studio use but is also suitable for fieldwork.
As a modular system, the RZ67 features interchangeable lenses, viewfinders, film backs, and other components. Its native format is 6x7cm, using 120 or 220 medium format film. It can also create 6x6 and 6x4.5 images and use Polaroid and Quadra formats. Sekor lenses have built-in electronic leaf shutters, cocked and triggered from the body. A bellows system enables focusing. A rotating film back allows for horizontal and vertical orientation without removing it.
Used Mamiya RZ67 Pro camera bodies range in price from around $389 to $720. The Mamiya RZ 67 Pro II with a lens can range from $420 to $1100, depending on condition. Availability of the RZ67 Pro, Pro II, and Pro IID models varies depending on the vendor.
