GPT-5, a multimodal large language model developed by OpenAI, was launched on August 7, 2025. It is the fifth in the series of generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) foundation models. For example, GPT-5.2 has a price of $1.750 per million input tokens and $14.000 per million output tokens, while GPT-5.2 Pro costs $21.00 per million input tokens and $168.00 per million output tokens. GPT-5 mini is a more budget-friendly option, priced at $0.250 per million input tokens and $2.000 per million output tokens.
