The Ford Fiesta was a supermini car marketed by Ford from 1976 to 2023 across seven generations. Primarily developed and manufactured by Ford's European operations, it was positioned below the Escort (later the Focus). Over 22 million units were produced during its lifetime. The Fiesta was manufactured in the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, Taiwan, China, India, Thailand, and South Africa. The final Ford Fiesta rolled off the production line on July 7, 2023. However, Ford announced its return as an EV in 2028 in partnership with Renault.
The Fiesta was known for being fun to drive, with responsive handling and good gas mileage. It was available as a 3-door and 5-door hatchback and a 4-door sedan in some countries. Key features included a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a heated windscreen, and alloy wheels. Depending on the model year, entry-level Fiestas came in Zetec or Trend trims. The Fiesta ST was a high-performance model with a 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine. Used Ford Fiestas (2017-2024 models) in the UK range from £4,000 to £15,000, depending on the trim level and condition. In the United States, used Fiestas range from $2,500 to $19,998.
