AirPods Max are wireless, over-ear headphones designed and manufactured by Apple. Released on December 15, 2020, they represent Apple's high-end option in the AirPods lineup. The headphones feature an Apple-designed dynamic driver that provides high-fidelity audio. They also incorporate Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology to block outside noise and Transparency mode for hearing surrounding sounds. The digital crown, similar to that of the Apple Watch, allows users to control volume, play/pause audio, skip tracks, control phone calls, and activate Siri.
Key features of the AirPods Max include spatial audio with dynamic head tracking for a theater-like sound experience, adaptive EQ that tailors sound to the ear cushions' fit, and effortless setup with Apple devices.
