Club Cumming is a vibrant gay bar and nightclub located in the East Village of Manhattan, New York City, at 505 East 6th Street. Co-owned by actor Alan Cumming and nightlife promoter Daniel Nardicio, it opened in 2017, transforming the former Eastern Bloc bar into a space reminiscent of Weimar-era cabarets. The venue is known for its inclusive atmosphere and eclectic entertainment, offering cabaret, Broadway-style shows, drag performances, dance parties, and DJ sets. Celebrities, especially Broadway actors, often make impromptu appearances.
Club Cumming aims to be a home for people of all ages, genders, and sexualities, emphasizing kindness, acceptance, and fun. The interior features a "maximalist" design with velvet drapes, chandeliers, and murals painted by Cumming's husband, Grant Shaffer. In October 2025, it was announced that World of Wonder, the production company behind RuPaul's Drag Race, is creating a six-part documentary series about the club, set to premiere on WOW Presents Plus in 2026. The series will showcase the talents and stories of the club's diverse performers and employees, offering a behind-the-scenes look at this unique venue.
