Tracy Jamal Morgan (born November 10, 1968) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and author. He is widely recognized for his roles on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) from 1996 to 2003 and as Tracy Jordan on the NBC sitcom "30 Rock" from 2006 to 2013. For his work on "30 Rock," Morgan received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. In 2022, the New York Friars Club honored him with the Entertainment Icon Award.
Morgan's career began with stand-up comedy in New York City. He gained further recognition for his role as "Hustle Man" on the comedy series "Martin". Beyond television, Morgan has appeared in numerous films, including "The Longest Yard" and has voiced characters in animated films like "Rio". In October 2025, Morgan starred in the sitcom "Crutch" on Paramount+, where he plays a recent widower. In May 2025, it was announced that he would star in "The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins" alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Erika Alexander. In 2026, he is starring in "The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins," a new NBC comedy series.
