Timothée Hal Chalamet, born on December 27, 1995, is a French-American actor. He was raised in New York City and spent summers in France. Chalamet began his acting career in short films and television dramas, including "Homeland". He gained widespread recognition for his role as Elio Perlman in the 2017 film "Call Me by Your Name".
Chalamet has since starred in numerous critically acclaimed films, including "Lady Bird," "Little Women," and "Dune". He is praised for his portrayals of complex characters and his artful humor.
