Seth Adam Meyers, born on December 28, 1973, is an American comedian, television host, writer, actor, and producer. He is widely known for his role as the host of "Late Night with Seth Meyers" on NBC since 2014, a late-night talk show celebrated for its humor and critical acclaim. Before "Late Night," Meyers was a prominent figure on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) from 2001 to 2014, where he served as head writer and anchored the "Weekend Update" segment from 2006 until his departure.
Meyers' career began with improv comedy, performing with the Mee-Ow Show at Northwestern University and later with ImprovOlympic and Boom Chicago in Amsterdam. Beyond television, Meyers has appeared in films and TV shows and has written for comic books.
