Ron Morris is a certified forensic document examiner and the President and Founder of Ronald N. Morris & Associates, Inc., a forensic document consulting firm. He specializes in handwriting and hand printing identification, and other document examinations, such as detecting alterations, fabrication techniques, page insertions, and analyzing ink and indentations.
Morris had a distinguished career with the U.S. Treasury Department, United States Secret Service (USSS) from 1975 to 1998, where he completed his training program and worked as a Forensic Document Examiner. He served as a technical representative from the USSS to INTERPOL and was elected Chairman of the Sub-group of experts, with the mission to develop an international classification system for counterfeit plastic card documents. He also served as a technical advisor to the Standards Council of Canada, conducting accreditation surveys of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) forensic laboratory system. As an expert in his field, Morris has testified approximately 275 times in federal, state, local, and military courts. He is also the author of "Forensic Handwriting Identification: Fundamental Concepts and Principles".
