Mary Meeker is an American venture capitalist and former Wall Street securities analyst known for her work on internet and new technologies. Often called the "Queen of the Internet", she gained prominence for her insightful analysis of internet trends and her bullish stance on tech companies. She is the founder and general partner at BOND, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm.
Before founding BOND in 2019, Meeker was a partner at Kleiner Perkins, where she invested in companies like Plaid, Peloton, Ring, Pinterest, Airbnb, and Instacart. Earlier in her career, she served as a managing director at Morgan Stanley, leading the firm's global technology research practice and covering emerging tech companies such as Google, Amazon, and Apple. Meeker is also known for her annual Internet Trends Report, which she published from 1995 to 2019 and revived in May 2025 with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. As of December 2025, Meeker leads BOND's $5.9 billion global portfolio and serves on the boards of Block/Square, Genies, and OpenEvidence. She also serves on the Defense Innovation Board. In 2025, Forbes ranked her #49 on the Midas List of Top Tech Investors and #88 on the list of Power Women.
