Rober's career includes nine years as an engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), where he contributed to missions such as the Curiosity rover on Mars. He then spent four years at Apple as a product designer in their Special Projects Group, authoring patents related to virtual reality in self-driving cars.
