Lin-Manuel Miranda, born on January 16, 1980, is an acclaimed American songwriter, actor, filmmaker, and librettist. He is best known for creating the hit Broadway musicals In the Heights and Hamilton, as well as contributing to the soundtracks of animated films such as Moana, Vivo, and Encanto. Miranda's work blends hip-hop, R&B, and traditional Broadway styles, often exploring themes of cultural identity and representation.
