Josh D'Amaro, born on February 10, 1971, is an American businessman who is set to become the CEO of The Walt Disney Company on March 18, 2026, succeeding Bob Iger. He is currently the Chairman of Disney Experiences, a position he has held since 2020. In this role, he oversees Disney's global theme parks, resorts, cruise line, consumer products, and vacation club businesses. D'Amaro has been with Disney for over 27 years, specializing in its resorts sector and holding various leadership positions.
D'Amaro's career at Disney began in 1998, and he has since held roles in finance, business strategy, marketing, creative development, and operations. He previously served as President of both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. As Chairman of Disney Experiences, D'Amaro is guiding a multi-year, $60 billion investment to expand Disney's parks, cruises, and experiences. This includes the development of new themed lands and attractions, such as Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Avengers Campus, as well as expansions to the Disney Cruise Line. He also oversees Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Consumer Products, including Disney's partnership with Epic Games. D'Amaro serves on the National Board of Directors for Make-A-Wish America. He graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Business Administration.
