Jason Oppenheim, born on April 12, 1977, is a prominent American real estate agent, attorney, and reality TV personality. He is the president and founder of The Oppenheim Group, a luxury real estate brokerage based in Los Angeles, California. Oppenheim's firm represents buyers and sellers of distinguished properties throughout Southern California. He is widely recognized as a top agent in the Hollywood Hills and West Hollywood areas by the Wall Street Journal and has been identified as a leading agent in Los Angeles by The Hollywood Reporter and Variety. He was also recognized as the Best Real Estate Agent in the United States by the International Property Awards.
Before his career in real estate, Oppenheim worked as an attorney, representing clients such as the former CEO of Enron. He transitioned to real estate, following a five-generation family tradition that began in 1889. Oppenheim gained international recognition as the star and executive producer of the Netflix series Selling Sunset and Selling the OC. The shows highlight his brokerage and its agents as they represent luxury properties for affluent and celebrity clients. In January 2025, Oppenheim offered free assistance from The Oppenheim Group to those who lost their homes in the Los Angeles wildfires. As of December 2025, Oppenheim expressed his intentions to marry his girlfriend, Jessica Vargas.
