Peter Attia, MD, born on March 19, 1973, is a Canadian-American physician focusing on longevity medicine. He is the founder of Early Medical, a medical practice applying the principles of Medicine 3.0. Attia received his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine and trained at Johns Hopkins Hospital in general surgery. He also spent two years at the National Institutes of Health as a surgical oncology fellow at the National Cancer Institute, researching immune-based therapies for melanoma.
Attia is known for his work on extending lifespan and healthspan. He is the host of "The Peter Attia Drive" podcast, where he discusses health, medicine, and longevity. He is also the author of the #1 New York Times Bestseller, "Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity". In November 2025, Attia launched "Science for a Longer, Better Life" with MasterClass, teaching members how to take control of their health. In January 2026, Attia was hired as a contributor to CBS News.
Recently, Attia's name has appeared in connection with the release of Jeffrey Epstein files, which has led to some professional repercussions.
