Chelsea Joy Handler (born February 25, 1975) is an American stand-up comedian, actress, writer, television host, and producer. She is known for her blunt, observational comedy and her foray into late-night television with "Chelsea Lately," which aired on E! from 2007 to 2014. Handler has also authored six New York Times best-selling books.
Handler has continued to be active in the entertainment industry. She has released documentary series such as "Chelsea Does" on Netflix. In 2021, she launched her iHeart Radio advice podcast, "Dear Chelsea". Handler also embarked on the "Vaccinated and Horny Tour", winning "The Comedy Act of 2021" at the People's Choice Awards. In 2025, Handler has a Las Vegas residency and is starring in the Hulu comedy film "Prom Dates". Her fourth stand-up special is slated to be released by Netflix in 2025.
