In his role, Lightcap oversees OpenAI's business, operations, and strategic partnerships across research, applied AI, and go-to-market initiatives. He also manages the OpenAI Startup Fund. He also worked as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan. Lightcap holds degrees in Economics and History from Duke University.
