Austin Andrade, born on January 20, 1994, is an American strongman competitor hailing from San Antonio, Texas. Standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing around 379 pounds (172 kg), he has quickly risen to prominence in the professional strongman circuit since entering the competitive scene in 2022. Outside of strongman, Andrade works as a residential real estate appraiser. He trains at Heavy Metal Fitness in San Antonio with training partner Nick Guardione. His nickname is "Smash".
Andrade's achievements include winning the 2023 Strongman Champions League World's Strongest Latino and the 2023 Shaw Classic Open. In 2024, he finished seventh at the World's Strongest Man competition. At the 2025 Arnold Strongman Classic, Andrade placed fourth overall. During the 2025 Arnold Strongman Classic, he won the Stone-to-Shoulder event by completing four reps with the 405-pound stone, earning a standing ovation from Arnold Schwarzenegger. Also in 2025, Andrade achieved a personal best 470 kg (1,036 lb) deadlift at the World Deadlift Championships.
