Arvind Jain is the Founder and CEO of Glean, an AI-powered work assistant designed to enhance workplace productivity by streamlining access to company information. Founded in 2019, Glean utilizes AI to scan organizational data, offering document summaries and data extraction to improve efficiency. Glean is designed to function like ChatGPT but for enterprise use, connecting with enterprise systems to provide employees with a centralized platform for answering questions. Jain emphasizes the importance of integrating AI to assist employees in their daily tasks and to drive innovation. Glean has achieved significant growth, surpassing $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and reaching a valuation of over $2.2 billion.
Before founding Glean, Jain co-founded Rubrik, a data management company that went public in 2024. He also spent over a decade at Google as a Distinguished Engineer, where he led teams in Google Search, Maps, and YouTube. Earlier in his career, Jain held leadership positions at Akamai and Microsoft. Jain holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
