Arnon Milchan, born on December 6, 1944, is an Israeli billionaire businessman and film producer. He is known for producing over 130 full-length motion pictures and founding Regency Enterprises, a production company responsible for successful films like 12 Years a Slave, JFK, Heat, and Fight Club. Milchan has received two Academy Award nominations for Best Picture for L.A. Confidential and The Revenant. He also produced Best Picture winners 12 Years a Slave and Birdman. Beyond film, Milchan has been involved in various business ventures, including owning the WTA broadcasting rights, holding a stake in Israel's TV Channel 10, and formerly owning Puma.
