Anthony Mestas is a model maker and painter, known for his work with Sideshow Collectibles as a lead painter. He specializes in bringing raw sculptures to life through paint, a passion he developed from a young age, influenced by his grandfather. Mestas credits his artistic growth to trial and error and the collaborative environment at Sideshow, where he learned from fellow artists.
Anthony Mestas (he/him/el) is also an Administrative Specialist in the Office of Instruction at Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC), supporting the Vice President of Instruction and Academic Senate. He previously worked as a Scholarship Advisor for the Ministry of Higher Education of the state of Kuwait and taught English as a Second Language at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and English as a Foreign Language in Xi'an, China. Mestas volunteers and supports LGBTQ+ initiatives with the City of La Puente and serves on the Pomona Valley Pride Center Advisory Board. He hopes to return to teaching, focusing on fashion education, and is dedicated to creating a culture of belonging for students.
