Andy Stumpf is a retired Navy SEAL officer with a 17-year military career. He is known for his service in SEAL Team Five and SEAL Team Six (DEVGRU), participating in numerous combat operations worldwide. Stumpf received several honors, including five Bronze Star Medals (four with Valor), the Purple Heart, and the Presidential Unit Citation. In 2008, he was the first E-6 selection commissioned through the Limited Duty Officer Program in Naval Special Warfare history. He medically retired from the Navy in June 2013.
Post-retirement, Stumpf has become a public speaker, podcast host, and consultant. He hosts the "Cleared Hot" podcast, discussing leadership, resilience, and high performance. He founded Razor 01 LLC, a consulting firm teaching special operations principles to corporate leaders. Stumpf is also a sponsored skydiver and BASE jumper. In 2015, he set two world records in wingsuit flying to raise $1 million for the Navy SEAL Foundation. In 2023, he completed a 7-continent expedition with special operations veterans, breaking four world records and raising $1.25 million for charity. As of late 2025, he has two podcasts, "Cleared Hot" and "Change Agents," and is writing two books.
