Aleksander "Alek" Todt was the 13-year-old son of Anthony "Tony" Todt and Megan Todt. In December 2019, Alek, along with his mother, younger brother Tyler, younger sister Zoe, and the family dog Breezy, were murdered in their home in Celebration, Florida.
Alek's father, Anthony Todt, confessed to the murders and was convicted in 2022, receiving a sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, plus an additional year for animal cruelty. The motive for the murders remains unclear, with Anthony Todt offering conflicting accounts, including claims of a suicide pact and blaming his wife for the deaths. At the time of the murders, Anthony Todt was under federal investigation for healthcare fraud related to his physical therapy practice in Connecticut.
