The Daily Wire is an American right-wing media company founded in 2015 by political commentator Ben Shapiro and film director Jeremy Boreing. The company was conceived as a for-profit business with an emphasis on distribution and marketing. Early financial backing came from brothers Dan and Farris Wilks, who invested $4.7 million. Farris Wilks manages DailyWire Ventures, LLC, which publishes The Daily Wire. Caleb Robinson is the CEO.
The Daily Wire produces podcasts, including "The Ben Shapiro Show," and has created films and video series. In 2022, it launched DailyWire+, a video-on-demand platform. In 2023, they launched Bentkey, a children’s video platform. As of 2025, the company was valued at over $220 million. In 2021, The Daily Wire's stories received more likes, shares, and comments on Facebook than any other news publisher. The Daily Wire is based in Nashville, Tennessee.
