The Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit membership organization and the global governing body for the sport of disc golf. Founded to promote the sport's sustainable growth, the PDGA oversees tournament development, course development, rules and competitive standards, media and sponsor relations, and public education.
The PDGA's headquarters and the International Disc Golf Center (IDGC) are located in Wildwood Park in Appling, Georgia. The IDGC also features the World Disc Golf Hall of Fame. The park is currently being redesigned and has no courses open for play. In 2020, the PDGA saw a significant increase in new memberships, with 26,632 people becoming first-time members, which is almost double the previous year. By the end of 2023, the PDGA had a total of 136,347 members. The 2026 PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships will be held August 26–30, 2026, at Kensington Metropark in Milford, Michigan.
