"The Bride!" is an upcoming American gothic romance/horror film directed and co-produced by Maggie Gyllenhaal, drawing inspiration from Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" and the 1935 film "Bride of Frankenstein". Set in 1930s Chicago, the film follows a lonely Frankenstein who seeks the help of a doctor to create a companion, leading to the reanimation of a murdered woman. The ensuing events spark a radical romance, police attention, and a social movement. It is scheduled to be released in theaters and IMAX on March 6, 2026.
