Modern men are caught in a 'vulnerability trap,' told to open up by a society that often doesn't know how to handle the reality of their struggles. While we rush to fix systemic issues for other groups, we tell men their decline in health, education, and wealth is a personal failure they must fix alone. If we don't move past this empathy gap, the resulting resentment and withdrawal will leave both sexes losing the battle for a functional future.
