Narratives Built on Entitlement

Replacing the discipline of the "underdog story" with innate perfection fosters a sense of entitlement. In a healthy growth mindset, we recognize that excellence requires honing raw talent through external discipline and the willingness to be corrected. Modern scripts often frame any doubt of a female character's immediate brilliance as coming from a place of malice.
