Three steps to custom physical tags

First, open the web creator and select your box size. Choose your layout style. Regular labels feature raised text, while inverted labels raise the background to make the letters recessed. Next, pick an icon from the custom-drawn library. These vector graphics are designed specifically for physical fabrication, avoiding thin lines that ruin prints. Download the pre-colored 3MF file or the standard STL file. Finally, import the file into your slicer, execute the print, and apply a small drop of superglue to secure the finished tag to the front of your bin.

Tweak your slicer settings for clean text

For the sharpest text, use a 0.2 mm nozzle. However, a standard 0.4 mm nozzle still delivers impressive results. If you use a 3MF file, your slicer should automatically identify the color changes. If you use a standard STL, set manual filament swaps at the layer height where the text begins. Keep your first layer clean to prevent plastic oozing.
