Jeremy Strong (born December 25, 1978) is an American actor celebrated for his intense method acting style across stage and screen. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Kendall Roy in HBO's drama series Succession (2018–2023). Strong's performance in Succession earned him a Primetime Emmy Award in 2020 and a Golden Globe Award in 2022. In 2022, he was also included in Time Magazine's list of the 100 Most Influential People.
Strong's acting journey includes studies at Yale University, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. He has appeared in films such as Lincoln (2012), Parkland (2013), and The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020). In 2024, Strong returned to Broadway in a revival of Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People, for which he won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play. He also earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Roy Cohn in the film The Apprentice.
