Barry Keoghan, born on October 18, 1992, is an Irish actor recognized for his captivating and often unsettling performances. He spent part of his childhood in foster care before being raised by his grandmother and aunt. Keoghan's career began with appearances in Irish television and film, with a breakthrough in 2017 in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk and Yorgos Lanthimos's The Killing of a Sacred Deer. He received an Irish Film and Television Award for Best Supporting Actor for The Killing of a Sacred Deer.
Keoghan's career has progressed with roles in Calm with Horses, Eternals, The Banshees of Inisherin, and Saltburn.
